Our couple, Jodie and Barry got in touch with us a looooong time ago to book us for their wedding so we were super excited when the day had finally arrived, a winter wonderland themed event inspired by the fact that they were becoming Mr & Mrs Snow!!
Aberdeen’s St Machar Cathedral and a crisp dry winter morning greeted the guests as they arrived and took their seats. As they stood for the arrival of the bride Jodie, her father and bridesmaids took the long walk down the aisle towards her husband to be wowing all those there.
Following their vows the now married couple continued celebrations at The Marcliffe at Pitfodels where drinks and canapés were enjoyed before entering the main ballroom for dinner. Jodie had worked with wedding stylist Rebecca Barnett to create a stunning winter wonderland complete with fake snow and pine cones.
As the party was in full flow the band lowered the music and suddenly in the distance you could hear the pipes! A local pipe band marched into the room and took over the dance floor for a short set before the dancing and photoboothing continued long into the night!
Having followed each other on twitter we had remembered seeing that jodie was a big fan of a Scottish band called The Little Kicks. We decided to get in touch with the band to see if we could use one of their songs on the couples trailer and being awesome the band said yes!!!
Jodie & Barry we had such fun at your wedding making it a real joy to film you both! We wish you all the best in your lives together and hope you enjoy your trailer 🙂
