The wedding of Debbie & Andy was a bit of a family affair for CineMate as Gregg’s brother-in-law adhered to his Bestman duties with parents and sister attending as guests.
Saturday morning we arrived at the awe-inspiring Fyvie Castle which was drenched in spring time sun. Luckily for the couple it remained this way for the whole day (albeit a little windy at times lol).
As Debbie and her Father walked down the aisle Andy couldn’t resist a quick glance over his shoulder at his beautiful bride to be. Sun light flooded the windows of the ceremony hall as readings from the grooms Father, advice from the Celebrant and the union followed.
The newly married Husband and Wife led everyone out into the sun where all enjoyed bubbly champagne and congratulated the couple.
Further drinks and canapés continued at the majestic Pittodrie House. Staff were busy preparing the delicious meal the wedding party and guests would feast on before the cheese cake was cut and the room transformed for the first dance. Ceilidh dances and pop classics had the party flowing but just incase guests didn’t have their fill at dinner they were helped along with some vintage pork pies, cheese and crackers. It was at this point in the night the bride and groom disappeared outside to play with some sparklers in the gardens for some interesting snaps!
Debbie & Andy it was a real honour to celebrate your wedding with you. We look forward to catching up the next time you’re down visiting.
