Ever since Donald and Fiona booked us to film their wedding we’ve been looking forward to it, not only were they a lovely couple with awesome taste in music but they were getting married at Dundas Castle where Simon had his wedding back in 2010.
Clouds moved over the castle slowly, coating it in an eerie and beautiful fog that day Donald and Fiona said their vows and in the Auld Keep, a room so drenched in history you could almost feel every past vow promised there.
After making commitments to each other the couple made their entrance to the grand hall accompanied by the sounds of a lone piper before cutting the awesome cake and enjoying a few drinks and congratulations from family and friends.
The party moved over the the Pavilion where all took their seats at tables named after classic films. Four beautiful speeches and some skilled MC’ing followed before dinner was served but bellies full of yummy food and delicious drink couldn’t dampen the party atmosphere and the band invited the newly married couple to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. More dancing, drinking and photo boothing ensued and continued into the night!
Fiona & Donald, thank you for inviting us to be apart of your history however may we wish you long and happy future together, rock on!!
