Nestled by the foot of Arthurs seat in Edinburgh in early September, Guy and Naiomi gathered with friends and family to celebrate their marriage at the grand Prestonfield House. As morning broke Naiomi was busy getting ready with her family at Prestonfield while Guy enjoyed a refreshing ice bucket challenge in the city centre before warming up with a pint. The day was full of surprises, starting with Naiomi arranging for an Aston Martin DB9 for her husband to be and bestman to drive from the Hilton to the venue. Arriving in style!!
After their personal humanist ceremony the couple were entertained by string music and a magician performing up-close tricks to guests during the drinks reception, you could see the amazement in the faces of everyone of all ages. The guests made their way into the orange wonderland of the stables for dinner, followed by the pipe band who announced Guy and Naiomi to the room.
Before the meal was served three great speeches were delivered with elegance and grand timing, the best man again had a surprise up his sleeve as from his satchel of surprises he produced a ukelele and performed a song specially written for the couple.
Our newly married couple cut the cake and shared their first official dance as husband and wife and after gracefully gliding around the floor they were joined by their guests as the band kicked things off with a perfect blend of modern and ceilidh music for everyone to jive to!!
Guy & Naiomi your wedding will stay with us for a long time, it was a pleasure to be part of the day, best wishes for the future together.
