Last week our friends over at bridalmusings were celebrating “Groom Week”, with some helpful advice on writing the perfect groom’s speech, groom’s fashion tips as well as a short history of the groom’s cake– an old victorian tradition which certain sweet-toothed bridegrooms-to-be may be keen to revive!
So as we at CineMate have been spoiled with more than our fair share of groovy grooms, we thought we’d give a shout out to these recent romantics Kayleigh & Allan, who traveled north to the majestic and picturesque setting of Drumtochty Castle in what was our final wedding of 2014. After managing to coax his talented and tentative friend onto the stage with him for rhythm guitar and backing vocal duties, Allan saw the night off with a bang when he picked up a guitar and delighted the audience with an impromptu rendition of Sonnentanz (the song which had been the soundtrack to their holiday in Thailand where Allan popped the question) dedicated to his new bride Kayleigh.
Groovy Grooms Galore, come back Friday for some more!
