We were delighted when Pamela and Paul got in touch to say they had chosen us at CineMate to film their big day, as they had decided to get married on the Isle of Mull- somewhere we had never ventured to in all our film making years! We arrived by boat on the somewhat rainy but incredibly picturesque isle, which was drenched with beauty and relentless charm. It was not Mull’s infamous winds but Paul’s chivalrous marriage proposal that had swept Pamela’s feet from the sands of Calgary beach back in 2013 when he wrote her a message in the sand, asking her to be his wife. Though the pair are now living in London, their emotional connection with the isle had drawn them to it as a destination for their wedding, and it made for a day to remember.
We are certain that Pamela and Paul’s love will continue to be as unrelenting as Mull’s weather, and would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to make a film in such a pretty part of the country.
P.S. Simon deserves extra credit for risking life and limb to capture the boat shots at the beginning of this trailer!
