When Andrew stood up to make his groom’s speech at Brig O’Doon House back in September, he suggested that he could only speak on behalf of himself- his new wife Bryony was to say some words of her own afterwards. So instead, he recited a poem he had written for the occasion that was simultaneously full of humour and emotion, wit and sincerity. Andrew told how he felt like “September’s lucky winner”, suggesting he couldn’t believe his luck that Bryony had somehow chosen him to spend the rest of her life with.
It seems as though what Andrew didn’t realise was that he had unknowingly spoken for more than just himself when expressing these feelings, as we can almost guarantee Bryony felt the very same sense of disbelief at her own good fortune.
To Bryony & Andrew: – thanks for letting us be a part of your day, we at CineMate wish you all the best for the new year and your future together as husband and wife.
