It was the 15th of September and while Tom, the groom and his team of ushers enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the local Loch Lomond Arms Inn and planned their duties for the day, the bride Joanna was with her bridesmaids, pampering themselves, having their hair and make up applied and all while sipping on glasses of bubbly at the near by Carriage Lodge. A relaxing morning for both parties preparing themselves for the day ahead!
As the bride slipped into her wedding dress, guests at Luss Parish Church, along side Tom awaited for their bridal party. For all the guests this was the perfect opportunity to admire the interior of this small beautiful church then arm in arm the bride and father took to the aisle and the ceremony had begun. Songs, readings and tears filling the Parish and Joanna & Tom were united.
As the church emptied, all whom attended the ceremony, scattering flower petals into the air, funnelled the newly married couple out of the grounds and toward the shores of Loch Lomond and towards continued celebrations at Butrich castle.
The rest of the night was filling with food and drink, speeches, dancing, more dancing and an explosive sci-fi fireworks display. It was a grand party to welcome in the couple’s new life together.
Joanna & Tom, what a fantastic wedding! Thank you for welcoming us into your family, for being such a perfect couple to work with and the little sci-fi geek in us thanks you doubly for the amazing geek-chic fireworks display! May the force be with you both for the rest of your lives together.
