Winton Castle Wedding Film || Yousreya : Sean || Hungry Hearts

How did you meet?
Bumble! Romance isn’t dead in the online dating app space.

Tell us about the proposal:
I surprised her in her flat on a regular weekday morning – directing her to a few messages I’d left in a book as I waited on my knee by the front door.

The venue(s) or location, why this place above anywhere else?
Scotland – Yousreya was born and raised in Glasgow and Australia for me. It’s an important place for her and my family love a holiday!!

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?
A lot of people in the same space for the same day for the first and maybe last time given our guestlist spans the globe.
Personally, I’m a bit of a cinephile as it is so a decent video is my jam.

Tomi : Tahnee

A Wild Scottish Elopement Film In Glen Coe || Three Waters Meet

Tomi and Tahnee, along with Tahnee’s teenaged daughter travelled from New Zealand to adventure around our mystical country of Scotland and tie the knot in Glen Coe.

A bit about you, what do you do, how do you spend your time? What’s important in life?

Tomi is a Barber by trade, he loves his work but has many other hobbies including playing music, researching history and science and getting out on the motorbike for a ride. I work in hospitality, not my great passion in life, but it works for us right now. I love reading, drawing and getting out to explore the outdoors with my little family, usually always with a camera on hand. Tomi and I both work massive days, 5 days a week, so time spent with each other is the most important part of our family life.

Tell us about the proposal:
Tomi had just got off the phone to his then band manager. (Tomi was once the frontman to a band with a very heavy touring schedule) He and the other lads from the band had been asked to relocate countries. So, in the heat of the moment, he asked me to be his wife. He will tell you that it was the worst proposal ever, but to me, it was an honest and real moment of love that will forever be stored in the highlights section of my memory.

The venue(s) or location, why this place above anywhere else?
We have had many conversations over the years of where we would love to travel to. Scotland had always been on both of our lists. My gran was from Scotland, and after losing her and knowing she wouldn’t be there to witness our wedding day, I had Scotland on my mind a lot. Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries and family ties still there made it a no brainer for us.

Contact us, we’d love to go adventuring Scotland with you!

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?
Because we feel it is one of the, if not the, most important moments in our lives and we’d like to have it captured on film; photos only capture small glimpses.

Why did you pick us?
After looking at 30+ Filmographers/companies yours was the only one that stuck out as exactly what we were looking for.

A bit about you, what do you do, how do you spend your time? What’s important in life?
Alexis- I’m an ER nurse. I like to spend time drinking wine and spending time with my family. Family time is the most important thing in life. Andrew- I’m a firefighter/paramedic. I like to go diving on occasion and going on random adventures doing things I haven’t done before. Travelling and experiencing new things.

Tell us about the proposal:
I took her diving at La Jolla Beach, California and wrote on the dive slate if she’d marry me, half-joking. Then our families met us on the beach and that’s when I popped the question.

Passionate, loyal, persevere, playful, adventurous

What experience do you want to give your guests?

Sara and Camerons Colstoun House Wedding was all about family, friends and harsh sun! Watch the highlights above and then hear about their wedding in their words below.

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?
So that we can have a lasting memory of the day that goes beyond photographs, captures the people closest to us, and also all the details we lovingly planned for the day!

Why did you pick us?
We were looking for a style that matched ours – no cliches, captures genuine moments and all very natural. Creative and emotive.

How did you meet?
We met in our second last year of high school.

A bit about you, what do you do, how do you spend your time? What’s important in life?
Cameron is a Senior Marketing Manager for a FinTech company, Sara is an Account Manager at a creative agency. We’re foodies, we enjoy travelling, appreciate design in most areas of life! We love music, being with friends and family and keeping fit and healthy. Pretty much all of the previous list is important to us and we spend our time across all of these things!

Tell us about the proposal:
December 2016, Cameron booked a surprise trip to New York, though it wasn’t originally his plan to propose there. On the first day, we went to the Boat house in Central Park for a drink to warm up, we then went for a walk down to the frozen river and skimmed stones. After Sara had made plenty inappropriate comments and asked Cameron why his heart was beating so fast, completely oblivious to what was about to happen, Cameron got down on one knee. Sara’s first response was ‘are you joking’, then (very quickly) Yes!

The venue(s) or location, why this place above anywhere else?
We loved Colstoun immediately as it could be ours for the whole weekend. It’s rustic feeling but also finished to really high standard. We wanted something that didn’t feel too formal but was also formal enough at the same time to hold a big wedding party!

What experience do you want to give your guests?
We want to have a big party with all our favourite people. We want everyone to really enjoy themselves and not feel constrained by the ‘normal’ things you experience in a more traditional wedding venue.
